Hello All,
We've been busy with our new girls coming home from Palomino Valley, Nevada but we decided we would still try small steps of desensitizing our Curlys. So we introduced Cinnamon River to a ringing cell phone while sitting in the saddle. He was a very good boy and seemed to enjoy the conversation!
Hugs,
Angie
Angie,
ReplyDeleteI like your big saddle horn, I could rest my fat belly on it and go farther, my stomach muscles wouldn't get so tired,
Looks like you have warm weather in your neck of the woods.
How far do you live from Barbra Carol??? My one stallion came from her house.
Harold
Harold,
ReplyDeleteHarold, You are too funny. I love your sense of humor. I need to find Barbara's ranch. My Lakota who is from the Bad Eli Warrior line was breed by Barbara. I love her horses! I think I'm about a 2 hour drive east of her.
Come to Texas, enjoy our warm weather and we can visit Barbara!
Angie
You two look GREAT, Angie!! I wish I looked that good when I was riding! Love your pink shirt, what a great choice. Okay, so on to the obstacle.....ha ha....Great idea. Now when I do a "ride with me" ride we can call each other!! I don't think I have seen such a big horn on a saddle before....you could eat lunch on that. ;-)) btw, I have the exact same belt as you, I bought it in Medora, ND. It's my favorite!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing...loved all the pics! Denise
Denise,
ReplyDeleteThanks! I love my RAC pink shirt and wear it weekly to Equest Therapeutic Riding Center. I get lots of inquiries about "What are Curlies?". I'll be ordering another one soon for summer.
Call anytime....funny I was riding Chester our stallion and forgot I had not introduced him to the ringing cell phone. When the phone rang he didn't flinch! That stallion is rock steady!
Hugs,
Angie
Angie, I also admire your pink shirt, and I bet Harold does, too. :)
