The black colt in this picture is Tony. He died from internal injuries when he was kicked by another horse on Dec. 26. I was with him when he died. He was not in any pain. This picture was taken back in September, when he was three months old. He willingly obeyed his mother. But he would leave his mother to follow me. He would ask her first, she always gave him permission and then he would lead with out even a lead rope. The loss is heart breaking. He was our stallion prospect. He was smart, gentle and very easy to train. I will breed his dam again and hope for another colt like Tony. Tony's sire is my Mississippi Mud Slinger. Thank you for reading this. If your heart is tender, please pray that God will give us another Tony.
