Back on the Trails on a Saturday!
YAY! We prefaced this ride with some ground driving and a refresher on our side passing, because my personal December goal is to finally put Ah-D to the cart. My XL thighs and the dogs got a good workout, but Ah-D still had plenty of spunk. Even so, we set out on a loose rein and stayed there throughout the ride. The woods look like November woods because our snow is just about all gone. Harold came along for both the walk and the ride. This is Ah-D's kind of grouchy face because I didn't want to cross the stream while talking to Harold, so I made him wait. ;) I had lost my camera out of my pocket during the ground driving, and – thank you, Lord! – I found it right here. My pups were especially good on this ride. No wondering at all; they stayed right on Ah-D’s heels. The colors are pretty drab this time of year, but on the bright side, there are no bugs and the air is crisp, clean and fresh. Plus, it puts extra pep in my pony’s step!
