Golden Curls American Honey visits her first Rodeo

Good morning Curly friends,
Our American Honey experienced her first Rodeo last night at Mesquite Rodeo. Folks asked lots questions and were really impressed with how calm and gentle she was with all the lights, sounds, horses and bulls. Lots of cowboys and cowgirls commented on what a cool horse as they had never seen a Curly Mustang. Wahoo, she and Clint are working hard to win the Mustang Makeover. See you in September.

  1. Angie, I just watched this video on Facebook! American Honey sure has a lot of guts to brave such a scary place. Best of luck in the competition; I am sure Honey will make us RACers proud!

  2. Susan,
Thanks so much for the encouragement. It helps to have friends who refill our saddle bags of encouragement so we can share it with American Honey.
I really feel she is a true representative of how calm and intelligent Curly Mustangs are and we are so lucky to share her with others.

  3. Marleys heart would be pounding out of his chest if he was asked to go through the shoot area and then into that huge arena! Way to go Honey!! You could tell she really wanted to the way she was chomping on the bit, just wanting to please but needed encouragement. She sure has come along way from when you first got her! Keep up the great work and good luck next month!
