Dear Reader,
One of the best things that has helped Lyle is that he knows he has a safe place and a home base where he can always stop and think a problem through if he gets unsure or nervous. In the first picture you see me mounting him. He is standing on his bath mat safe place. This is so that he understands that he does not need to move while I am climbing aboard. Lyle appreciates this concept of "safe place." It has given him courage and confidence even when he has left his "safe place." It seem as if he is able to take this concept with him now that he has a place at home. He has never felt the need to rush back to his safe place when he is away from it. He has the ability to take that "safe place" with him in his heart and mind.
Sincerely,
Penny Johnson
