Sooooo Cold

Chuck

I haven't been on here to do any posting this week mostly due to the fact that it has been soooo cold! I am not a fan of cold weather and not fond of riding in single digit temps. I'm sure there are others who live in areas where its much colder and think i'm a wimp! Luckily we are having a very significant warm up this week so hoping to ride almost every day.
Since i haven't been spending any extra time outdoors, aside from regular chores, i've spent some time going thru albums of my horses on my computer. Some i haven't looked at for a couple of years but discovered some good old curly eye candy! I love photography so i have hundreds of photos, if not over a thousand. :-)
Here's a few that i really liked and felt compelled to share! I might share more another time. Enjoy!

  1. How cold is too cold? Because it is 1 - 2 below here with the wind blowing, and that is how I feel, wimp or no! Haven't done much with my Curly except snuggle my fingers into his curls one night when he was begging for attention. Love your pictures. I also greatly admire photography and LOVE looking at pictures. Can't get over Chuck's neck and chest. I've always thought he was so burly and handsome. Oh, and speaking of burly and handsome, I met Trouble (Lazy) once in person. Talk about looks AND personality; that guy had it all.

    1. I think its most comfortable when its at least above freezing and the sun is out. We have alot of open fields here and the wind can come whipping across the landscape and make things very uncomfortable even if its a little warmer. Those are the days i wish we had an indoor arena. Maybe someday :)
When i found Chuck i was looking for a good replacement for Trouble. I think i found him :) Trouble was really a one of a kind and i do miss him terribly.

    1. Thank you, Marion! I'm sure you have a little bit warmwr temps but the rain and snow to match the cold is no fun either. It has just started to snow here and the fields are turning white. The horses don't seem to mind so much as i do :)
