First time blogging...ever!

Well, what a better way to introduce myself to blogging than to do it with friends!

Haven't made it on a horse yet this year...may just have to sit on one tonight though, lol. Working with them on the ground but so far this year...that's it. Plan on making up for it though when it's not -20C...The snow does look beautiful and it is awesome to see the horses running around in a fresh snow. Now to remember to take my camera out with me, especially when I let them out in the morning.

I am so excited about the year ahead! My family is supporting me 100%, gave me a beautiful calender titled "My Training Calendar" with all pictures of Takai, lol. My son made some wonderful "Duty Coupons" for me so I can take advantage of those when I need the stalls cleaned for when I'm busy training, lol. Some other boosts as well to help me on my journey to showing this year. Having the RAC to help support as well, I'm 1/2 way there!

I'll be sure to keep you all up to date on our progress! Thanks for the support!!!

  5. Wahoo Trish!!! So glad you've joined in on the RAC this year! I can't imagine a better way to get motivated to just get out and ride than with the whole Team of fellow RACers behind you; having your family join in too though... you are one ultra lucky woman!! Really looking forward to your future posts on riding and ground training adventures, not to mention with a few pics *hint, hint* ;-)
    Welcome!!
    Best,
    ~Heather

  6. I have also been mostly working on groundwork so far this year. We actually did get a young girl on one of my horses, but I haven't gotten on her yet this year.
