I finally got the video of my Extreme Cowboy Race rides from my dad. Here are Champagne and I in our Preliminary ride and our Finals ride. Enjoy.
The RAC (Ride-A-Curly) International Riding Contest will not be held in 2012. But feel free to enjoy the stories from the past few years in this blog. The RAC was formed to unite all Curly Horse owners from around the world to work as a team in not only encouraging and motivating each other, but in promoting the breed. Be mindful that this blog is not a training blog and any techniques or methods shown here are not necessarily endorced by the RAC. Consult your trainer for advice.

Wowza! SO exciting!! Wish I had been there..the cheering was amazing. Champagne is an incredible curly mare! Tiffany..you have done such a great job with her!!! This type of thing is so up my alley..and I think Curlies are built for this. They love new and interesting things and they don't get bored doing it. lol. Thank you for promoting the breed in such a powerful way. Your a fabulous rider..it was a hoot to watch you fly through that course. I can only imagine the hours you have put into it. Thanks for inspiring us all!
ReplyDeleteWowza is right!! That is an amazing sport! You and Champagne were awesome, and I was so proud watching you and your Curly girl perform! Thanks for representing the breed so well!!
ReplyDeletereally a super job -- big applause for your efforts and a job very well done.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great job you did Tiffany! You have done a really excellent job training that horse - it is obvious you have put a TON of time and effort to get these results. Good for you and thank you so much for promoting our beloved Curlies in this way!
ReplyDeleteMay I ask you what your placing was?
Also, can I share these videos?

FANTASTIC Tiffany! Wow, you guys did amazing! Good for you for getting out there and showing off your wonderful Curly horse!
ReplyDeleteAMAZING job Tiffany...I was cheering you and Champagne as I watched. That looked like so much fun and the commentator was right, you really have a great connection with Champagne. You've inspired me to try that with Linus some day!
ReplyDeleteI am just about drooling in anticipation to see this video. My home computer doesn't have enough oomph for me to see it, but I will watch Monday. Congratulations, Tiffany, you and Champagne are truly inspiring!
ReplyDeleteShelly,
ReplyDeleteYes feel free to show to anyone you would like it is posted on youtube too. We placed 9th out of 28 riders. We were also the only non quarter horse to compete in the Finals.
