Hi, Susan, and everyone! My New Year's resolution with RAC 2011 is to Blog more! So, here I am to say that I rode today! It was above 50 degrees, although cloudy, and all of the snow from our blizzard last Monday is melting! I am so proud of myself to have gotten out there, ridden, and now be here telling you about it. I still need more "practice," before I will be as good as most of you, because I forgot my camera! So all I can say is we did one of our usual loops that we ride in winter! We saw LOTS of deer tracks in the snow out back in the woods! A beautiful day and a ride to start the new year off on the right foot! Dream seemed just as happy as I was to go for a stroll, too!
I am excited about all of the people in foreign countries who are participating this year!! Please take pictures so we can see what it is like where you ride? I promise to try to remember to do the same! Caren Schuman in Germany has promised that if I "stay on her case that she will do the same to me!" I DID remember to wear my emergency cell phone, so that's a step in the right direction! Lots of rides last year I'd forget that, too, and that is the whole reason I even HAVE it!! :-)

ReplyDeleteI will watch for your pictures and try to get better aboutmy own camera - still not sure how you do this when you are on the horse! Maybe I need a littler camera??? Or to learn how to send photos from my cell phone .... hmmmm anyway congrats on your ride and a terrific start to your new year!
