2011 RAC (Ride-A-Curly)

The RAC (Ride-A-Curly) International Riding Contest will not be held in 2012. But feel free to enjoy the stories from the past few years in this blog. The RAC was formed to unite all Curly Horse owners from around the world to work as a team in not only encouraging and motivating each other, but in promoting the breed. Be mindful that this blog is not a training blog and any techniques or methods shown here are not necessarily endorced by the RAC. Consult your trainer for advice.

Golden Curlies meet mud puddles and mug bugs

Hello Curly Friends,

We are located in East Texas and that means we are not far from the Bayou. After our exciting storms we were blessed with a bit of rain that gave us some mud puddles to practice our newest obstacles. To make things even more interesting we had mug bugs join us (also known as crawfish) to give our Curlies an added dimension of desensitizing.

I am glad you got the rain you were so anxious for ... we have nothing but rain here in Vermont ! and if I get a chance I will post about my mug bugs :)
