Well, the weather has finally given me a break and Tygs and I got a few more obstacles done! I set up a couple of fence posts and put a couple hoses down to see what he would do. At first, he didn't want to step on it, much less walk over it, but after a couple of times he got the idea.
Next he decided to see if it was edible or how fast he could whip it back and forth. What a character!
Next I put the boxes on top of the hose, just for some entertainment and to see if he would meet the challenge.
Here's he's touching down and took a bite a couple of times and threw it around.
Finally, I put all the boxes inside the posts on top of the boxes and tried to get him to walk through like with the hose. "Well," he says, "how am I supposed to do that? I guess I've got to move them!" And he promptly kicked them aside! What a character!
I realized we hadn't done the cell phone challenge and when I'm riding or doing anything with the horses I don't have my cell phone. One, it's ancient and won't fit in my pocket and, two, I don't want to be found when I'm with the horses! It's my time! But it's good for them to hear it because other people have their's with them. I hope this counts, Denise, but I took our handheld phone outside and put it on speaker and then dialed our own number so it rang busy. He was quite amused by the sound and then I pretended to talk on it, which amused him some more!
Happy Easter from Janeen and Tygs in the UP of Michigan!
Great job, Janeen! Yes, that counts for the ringing obstacle. I am sure it is even louder than some cells so that is just fine! I just love Tyg's personality!!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of his nose on the phone:) Tygs looks great Janeen. Good job with the obstacles.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you too!
