It was a little too slick to ride today - so Lakota and I went out to play in the snow.
We had lots of fun - playing hide and seek is a favorite!
No... I swear... I didn't throw any snowballs
I love my baby boy - he is such a cutie.
Not a whole lot to blog about today.... We got another 5 or 6 inches of snow - so it was a good day to play in the snow and just hang out and drink hot cocoa. I haven't posted any recent pictures of L.H.S. so I thought you might like to see how big he's gotten. (Almost as tall as his Mama!
Have a great weekend fellow curly lovers - happy riding!
Oh he looks soo cute! Especially that picture with his snowy eye! That really looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the "snow bandit" look he has going on!!!! He has such a kind face!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Thanks for the comments - I love my two curlies..
ReplyDeleteKrissy: I was thinking about your heading question: My story is kind of spiritual.... I had not really given a lot of thought about owning a horse again for very long - but then - out of nowhere - I came across a link for High Desert Equine Center - clicked on a video - and wanted the horse I saw! I really didn't think I could afford her - and so instead - actually started really considering the ownership of a horse. I looked around - and questioned a few other breeders - but couldn't get "Miss Demeanor" off my mind. So ... long story short ... ended up with my curly girl from Nevada. (Lakota High Socks - is another story in itself - even more remarkable in some ways - but I'll save that for another time. ) I will not own any other breed or horse again in my life - I am sooo connected and in love with my two horses.
Deb!! I love it!!!I cant wait to hear your story!! Isnt it amazing how the one ...is THE ONE!!!! Im with you this is the breed for me personally!!!! High five Curly Sista <3
