Today I had the saddle fitter over to measure Suri's back. Suri was so calm and stood there like a pro. The saddle fitter was amazed at how quitet and calm she was while she was measuring an photographing her back. She studies horses backs so likes to get all the measurments. Then she was going to measure her belly and said that most horses were scared by this and that I should untie her and hold her. I untied her but she was not scared at all, she did not mind any of it:) A great example for the breed's character! Later also the saddle fitter's friend came over and came to see Suri, she was also amazed and loved her, the both spent some time petting and admiring Suri! I was not planning on doing any of the obstacle challenges today but when I was standing talking to the saddle fitter and Suri had her head very close to me my phone rang! I have a very loud heavy metal annoying music ringtone because with the softer ringtones I am affraid I wont hear it when my phone is in my bag. So usually I jump up when my phone rings because it is so loud (I don't get called often, only few people have my number). I would not have blamed Suri for being scared or jumping at this but she amazed me again and just stood there very relaxed as if she has seen everyting allready in her life:) It was the daycare centre telling me that my son was not feeling well so I rounded up at the stable and went to pick him up but I did manage without even planning it to test how Suri is with my cellphone, well she is great! Could not be better! For the next cahllenge I will choose a more challenging one:) Now I hope the saddle fitter has a saddle at her place in Suri's and my size:)

How nice to get a tailored saddle! Suri is so calm since she relies completely on you. I am happy about that for both of you.
