Water for Angie

Angie, I had some wonderful stream walks with my buddy Didder, and I can't wait until you grab your truck and trailer and c'mon up to New England to ride in the cool, inviting brooks. I bet Chester would love it; what do you think?

Now, this is not to make you envious but rather so you can live vicariously through me (sort of like I do with you when you are riding through your Texas wildflowers). Harold, you were along for the ride - what do you think? And as far as walking into a "tank" well, are there snakes in there? Cuz if there are, you wouldn't catch me walking through it, even with my steel toed boots.

  2. Susan,
Please do me a big favor. Please. I have had another BAD re-action to the valtrex. If I do not watch out I will need a new liver. IT is toxic stuff. Please I must get back on my feet. I MUST ride Lyle because I want to see if his jaw and mouth remains mobile under saddle or if he curls back behind the vertical into over bending.

  3. Penny, you didn't ask me for anything specific, so I just want you to know that I am praying for you. I'm headed out for a ride, and I will ride for you this afternoon. I hope you feel better.
As for YOU, Harold, how do you know I wasn't wearing a hat? You and Jed were safe and secure, just like a backpack. If you would LIKE to go for a swim in the creek, that can be arranged next Sunday.

  5. Harold you absolutely crack me up. Your "whit" makes up for the fact that you can't wear fringe as well as Angie. (I know you said you could, but I'd like to see you prove it) Susan, what a BEAUTIFUL creek! It is flowing like it's spring time! Is this far from your house? I just love your dogs!! They seem to be multiplying. ha ha. Are some of them babies from the litter this year??

  6. Susan,
Here is what I want: I want to be able to finish re-training Lyle. By every thing that is good under the heavens, he is worth the work. Lyle will NEVER be for sale or lease. But this coming spring I have a badly crippled friend named Cindy who's dream is to ride a horse. I have promised her and her husband that Lyle will be ready for her. Lyle will be my horse, but I have promised Cindy that she and I will ride out together when the weather is warm and nice. She on either Lyle or Lila. Me on the one that she is not riding.
So, I have a promise to keep.
