winter and thick ice makes me dream of indoor riding rings; ooooh perhaps if my numbers play on the lottery . . . otherwise it is a day to haul water with the chains on, haul hay with the chains on and wait for opportunity to start some ground training, that is; when there is 'ground'.
so today will just be 'feed a curly' day . . .
come on over to my house Cheryl - you can come with me to Katia's indoor arena - it is awesome :)
ReplyDeleteCheryl....ouhhhh, must be bad. It's been a couple of winters since I had to use the chains....knock on wood! Then again, I don't believe I am nearly as far north as you are.
ReplyDeleteThe good news is that the ice will melt at some point and that "ground" will reappear. Don't know how far you are from Shelly, but sounds like a super invitation!
Totally Feeling the wintery "pricklies" here too!!! Blue skies and sun came to visit....but its in the upper teens....NO warmth whatSOever!!! LLLOLLL I was so ready for spring in ...well September!!!!
ReplyDelete"Feed a Curly" day. Why isn't that part of the competition, for those days where the ice is too treacherous to move? It should be! :)
